I aim to design real, reliable, and high-performing solutions with accuracy, clarity, and care for the real problem.
Great products work
by understanding the real service conditions and applying appropriate factors of safety to components.
I created the first validated suspension force model for the University of Canterbury Motorsport Team.
21 teams, 7 countries
I led the design of the suspension subsystem for the UCM25 team.
The UCM25 vehicle aimed to maximise simplicity and reliablity to maximise the probability of winning FSAE-A 25.
I created the first predictive suspension tuning tool for the University of Canterbury Motorsport Team by validating these forces against real measured forces to be used on future designs.
I designed the suspension geometry, and designed and manufactured several components including the brackets, pushrods, and tie rods.
My full documented design work can be found in the two design event booklets I made.
Titanium bracket printing, sand blasting, and vapour blasting.
Machining of titanium suspension brackets.
Tie rod manufacture.
Control arm and welding jig.
Various machined components.
Design and manufacture of lift bar.
Steering components.
Design and manufacture of telemetry port.

At the end of 2025, the team moved to 1st in Australasian Formula Student rankings.
My experience leading the suspension subsystem for an internationally championship-winning FSAE team strengthened my ability to decompose complex engineering problems into actionable sub-problems while maintaining accuracy, clarity, and coherence.
Playing junior representative cricket at a national-winning level strengthened my appreciation for how team culture directly shapes the quality of the final outcome.
I am currently completing graduate rotations through engineering, manufacturing, sales, and operations at an industry-leading company that designs tailored post-harvest vegetable processing solutions.
This broad exposure has provided a comprehensive perspective on the full product lifecycle - from a customer’s initial problem through design, scaling, and all the way to the end of a product’s life.
An avid reader, I continue to design and build personal projects in my free time.
I have been fortunate to work with the following teams:
